Freely, a longtime resident of Stony Brook, helps clients battle insurance companies, but in his spare time he works as a volunteer at Last Chance Animal Rescue in Southampton. “I meet the transport truck at Patchogue every Saturday when they bring dogs rescued from South Carolina.   3. Debit card stolen from car in Terryville. Suffolk County Police are asking the public for help in identifying a man who used a stolen debit card at a Home Depot in Coram. The card was reported stolen from a residence in Terryville on December 10. On the same day, the man used the debit card at the hotel to purchase multiple gift cards.   4. Pediatric admissions at Stony Brook Hospital increase with omicron wave. Pediatric infectious disease specialist Dr Sharon Nachman recommends that children and parents get vaccinated together to form a shield around each other and to protect those who are too young to be vaccinated.
