Pet of the week: Mushu

EUGENE, Ore. – Mushu loves to fetch and is particularly good at entertaining himself while playing with a toy.

This young pit bull terrier mix can be nervous in new settings, so he’s looking for a patient family that will give him time to get comfortable in his new home. He has a good history with children from 4 to 17 years old. He especially likes those who are old enough to throw a ball for him to chase after.

Mushu has been silent at the shelter, but staff members believe his outgoing personality will shine and shine with his new family. He is likely to have a high energy level once he settles down. He should start out as the only pet in the house.

Mushu is 1.5 years old and weighs around 60 pounds. The fee is $ 200, which helps pay for accommodation costs such as vaccinations, microchip identification, sterilization, a certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more.

Mushu was Tuesday’s Pet of the Week on KEZI 9 News. Every Tuesday, KEZI presents a homeless animal in the newspaper from noon to 11 a.m. and again at 4 p.m.
