Lewis County Animal Shelter Veterinary Services Qualification Application

Chehalis, Washington – Lewis County Public Health & Social Services (LCPHSS) is seeking a qualified veterinarian to provide clinical consultations and services at the Lewis County Animal Shelter (LCAS) located at 560 Centralia Alpha Road in Chehalis, Washington.

The Request for Qualification (RFQ) is for applicants who are or employ a licensed veterinarian in Washington State and are:

• able to regularly visit the refuge site in person and
• available for calls related to animal care.

In addition, Lewis County wants to consider proposals that include a guarantee of 25 sterilization surgeries per month. While not a requirement, it can strengthen an applicant’s proposal.

The initial review of submitted applications will take place on December 15, 2021.
