Pets have a profound impact on us. They improve our mental health, provide us with company and are a constant source of pleasure! At the end “Pet problem“we posted, we focused mostly on some of the more exotic pet options, which was a real treat for us. We love people in our community to bond and form meaning
relationships with creatures of all shapes and sizes. However, in this issue, we’ve chosen to highlight the proverbial American bread and butter of the pet world: cats and dogs.

In this magazine, you will be treated to beautiful photographs of some of the cutest felines and canines in the region. Plus, they could be your new companion! All of the animals you see in this issue are up for adoption and many of them are long-time residents of their shelters.

Lorraine is a sterilized cat, born in early 2020. She is curious and sympathetic, loves socializing and supervising volunteers. She doesn’t have a tail because she’s a Manx. She grew up with a lot of older cats and young kittens so she can get along with everyone and she is certainly trying to do just that in her colony room. She would love to be adopted with a family member OR move to a house with new kittens to make friends.

The toaster is a sterilized adult cat. We estimate that she was born in 2019 or 2020. It’s a small gun. She loves to be the first at the door to greet visitors. The toaster is very curious about our tasks and should inspect the litter boxes as soon as they are cleaned. She could be a great family mascot with sweet kids.

She also constantly snuggles up with Jacko, they are hardly ever apart. Jacko is terribly shy but sweet, and boy, does he like Mabel.

Jacko is a neutered adult male cat, probably born in 2018. He arrived with Mabel and Brennan. We’re not exactly sure about all relationships, but there’s a good chance Mabel is his mother (check family resemblance). Jacko likes to rub his cheeks and will come and sit with us when the building is nice and quiet. He’s a good boy and would love to be adopted with his soul mate Mabel.
