The Scottish SPCA is appealing for food for small dogs in the care of its Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Care Centre.
The center currently cares for 108 dogs and lacks essential food for small dogs.
Items can be purchased from the center’s Amazon Wish List or through any other online retailer offering direct to center delivery.

Center manager Gillian Boyle told Lanarkshire Live: “We need essential food for the dogs in our care.
“We are always extremely busy at the center and have a lot of hungry mouths to feed.
“We need complete small dog foods such as IAMS and Arden Grange.
“This food helps keep dogs like Tuppence the Yorkshire Terrier happy and healthy while waiting to find their forever home.
“We are very grateful for your support so that we can continue to provide the best care possible to the animals at our center.
“We would be very grateful for any donations people can spare and we know the dogs will be too.”
Dog food can be donated through the center’s Amazon wishlist or sent by another online retailer who can deliver.
Items can also be left in the donation bins outside the center at Scottish SPCA, Bothwell Road, Hamilton, ML3 0SB.
