Irwin

Irwin’s Halloween Costume Party for adults 21 and over will feature food, music provided by AJ Entertainment, and karaoke singing from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday at Masonic Hall, 415 , Main Street, Irwin.

The event is BYOB. Tickets cost $ 12 per person plus fees through Eventbrite, or $ 15 per person at the door.

Ticket holders will receive a meal of hot dogs, chips, soft drinks, water and homemade dessert. There will be several contests with cash prizes.

For an additional fee, attendees can have access to a photo booth, spooky special effects makeover, and raffle

Murrysville

Walker’s Pet HoTail will be holding its 15th Annual Howl-O-Ween Celebration at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Murrysville location, 4603 Old William Penn Highway.

There will be a costume contest, fall photos, basket raffle and vendors. Photo Fee: $ 5, benefits local animal shelters, cash only. Animals must be kept on a leash and proof of current vaccines against rabies, distemper and Bordatelle, and negative stools are required. Files must be brought or faxed in advance. Hempfield

A trunk or treat will be held Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the tennis courts in Hempfield Township Park, 220 Forbes Trail Road. Bring your car and the kids. Prize for the best costume and the car. Manor

The Halloween party will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Manor Community Hall, 44 Main Street.

There will be individual and family costume contests with prizes, a disc jockey, dance contests, games and refreshments.

Canton of Ligonier

The Compass Inn Museum will be hosting its annual Halloween Hauntings and Pumpkin Carving Contest from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. October 29-31 at the Inn, 1386 Route 30, Laughlintown, Township of Ligonier.

There will be tours and information on those who lived, worked and stayed at the 19th century inn. The tours that will start from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. will be aimed at families with children and those from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., with the last tour leaving at 8:30 p.m., will be designed for an adult audience. Borough of Derry

Derry First United Methodist Church, at the corner of Route 217 and North Ligonier Street, will host its annual feast from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on October 30.

Children will go from car to car in the church parking lot to collect candy. The first three “Best Decorated Chests” win a prize. Hot dogs, macaroni and cheese and hot chocolate will be served in the social room. There will be sweets, games and prizes. Free entry. For more information, call the church office at 724-694-8333.

Greensbourg

The Halloween Parade kicks off at 4 p.m. on October 31 at Lynch Field. The line-up starts at 3:30 p.m. and the parade will begin near the bridge leading to the 5-star trail, next to the aerobic center parking lot. The parade will loop around Lynch, following the walking track, and will end near the Kirk S. Nevin arena. Gift bags will be provided to participants.

6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 30: New Alexandria

5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 31: Murrysville.

6 p.m. to 8 p.m. October 31: Delmont, Export, Greensburg, Hempfield, Irwin, North Irwin, North Huntingdon and Unity.
