Topeka/Manhattan Kennel Clubs Host Dog Show This Weekend

TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Topeka Kennel Club and the Manhattan Kennel Club are hosting their 72nd annual AKC-licensed dog show in Topeka, August 25-28 at the Stormont Vail Event Center.

Over 1,100 dogs will compete for best in show and highest in trial. There will also be dock diving, a barn hunt and fragrance work trials.

“We are thrilled to once again welcome spectators to the Capital City Cluster dog shows hosted by the Topeka Kennel Club and the Manhattan Ks Kennel Club in Topeka, KS,” said Cheri Croucher, Topeka Kennel Club President and Capital President. CityCluster. “Not only is it a fun activity for families, but it’s also the perfect place to chat with breed experts about topics like training, grooming, and which breed fits your lifestyle. An AKC dog show is also a great place to start your search for a responsible breeder.

There is a confirmation competition at Landon Arena and obedience/rally trials in the show hall.

Dock Diving takes place in front of the Stormont Vail Events Center. In addition to the dog show, there are three clinics for health, heart, eye and canine reproduction.

Admission and parking are free for the public.

Show times from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. NO unregistered dogs are allowed.
