The Satellite Beach Community Center will host the Armed Forces Day Rescue Warrior 5K on May 21

5k should start at 7 am

BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE BEACH, FLORIDA – The annual Armed Forces Day celebration and 5K run will take place Saturday at the David R. Schechter Community Center in Satellite Beach.

The 5k must start at 7 a.m.

If you want to participate, you can register online or at the event at 6 a.m.

The Armed Forces Day celebration is a free entry event and is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m.

The Rescue Forces Foundation is a private, non-profit professional organization made up mostly of veterans. Our primary focus is to meet the needs of service members and their families serving within Patrick Space Force Base and the Space Coast Community.

Our goals include improving quality of life, esprit de corps, and encouraging an attitude of unified purpose to foster positive community relationships.
