Opening of the daycare and boarding house for playful pack dogs Location Alexandria

As many people return to the office and travel begins to pick up, pet owners will be looking for child care or boarding options for their pandemic puppies.

One of those options is Playful Pack Dog Daycare & Boarding, which is opening a new location in Alexandria at 7520A Richmond Hwy. by the end of the year. The locally based company currently has locations in McLean, Fairfax Station and Annapolis. In addition to the Alexandria location, Playful Pack also plans to open locations in Rosslyn and Leesburg.

An email sent by the company last month said the Alexandria and Rosslyn sites are scheduled to open by the end of 2021 and the Leesburg site will open in early 2022.

In addition to providing a place for your dog to socialize and stay, Playful Pack partners with local dog rescues HART (Home Animals Rescue Team), Mutt Love Rescue, A Forever Home and LOVEPAWS to provide a free place to live and learn social skills until they find a home.
