Norfolk Animal Center offering $ 20

NORFOLK, Virginia – Do you have room in your heart and home for a new furry friend?

The Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center (NACC) is currently at full capacity. In an effort to encourage more adoptions, the shelter is running a special adoption offer of $ 20 for all pets.

And if you’re worried about salvage fees, the NACC is also currently waiving them if you’ve lost a pet and need to stop to retrieve your pet.

The NACC is communicating with rescue partners and other shelters in the area to help alleviate this shortage, but they say many shelters are in the same situation due to the activity of the season.

If you are looking to adopt a dog, now is the perfect time. And if you’re looking for a more temporary situation, accommodating one or two animals from the CNLA would be of great help.

The shelter covers all the medical and food costs of the host families. You can see all the animals available to be accommodated at NACC Dogs in Need of Foster.
