Nexen Tire Americaa world leader in high performance passenger car, SUV/light truck and winter tire technology, has partnered with Animal rescue platforms (ARR), a 501(c)(3) animal rescue charity, to provide the company’s top performing off-road tire for PAWS ONE, a highly modified 2018 Nissan TITAN XD Gas PRO-4X that debuted at the 2018 Specialty Equipment Manufacturer Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas. PAWS ONE is equipped with 35-inch Nexen Tire Roadian MTX Xtreme all-terrain tires and was designed to provide support to secure lost and/or injured animals during and after natural disasters. Rescuers need to cover virtually any type of terrain and need a tire with maximum traction on multiple riding surfaces, including on-road and off-road, often in muddy and snowy conditions. With massive winter storms sweeping the country, first responders battled high winds, freezing temperatures and snowstorms to provide relief services. PAWS ONE is ready to help stranded animals who find themselves in similar situations.

“Nexen Tire believes in the mission of Animal Rescue Rigs, and we are proud to fully support them in every way possible,” said Brian YoonSeok Han, CEO of Nexen Tire America, Inc. “We fully understand that natural disasters can occur at any time. , and rescuers must have the best equipment to intervene quickly and safely. Having tires that can tackle almost any terrain, like the Roadian MTX, allows first responders to answer the call and provide critical rescue services when it matters most.
Nik Miles, Chairman of the Board of Animal Rescue Rigs, strongly believes in the extended capability provided to PAWS ONE by the Roadian MTX Xtreme Off-Road tires.
“PAWS ONE is truly a complete, purpose-built vehicle with plenty of rescue capabilities. However, one thing the build really needed was a capable tire. Our mission is to help animals no matter where they are – and if we don’t have the equipment to reach them due to traction limitations, we can’t complete the mission. With our Roadian MTX tires, we’re confident that PAWS ONE will tackle virtually any terrain when ‘it will be put into service,’ Miles said.
