In order to help those financially affected by the COVID-19[female[feminine pandemic, Neighbors FCU announced a number of new programs and operational changes:

  1. A loan payment relief program allowing members to skip 90 days of payments on their current Neighbors loans.
  2. A new Emergency aid loan up to $ 3,000 for those who qualify
  3. Extended hours of service from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in all places.

The loan payment relief program is available for most consumer loans and closed-end credit cards. Although currently unavailable on mortgage and commercial products, members can inquire about mortgage relief through a form.

The Relief Assistance Loan is available to current and prospective members for amounts up to $ 3,000 with term options of up to 12 months and 90 days until first payment.

Finally, for the safety of our staff and members, Neighbors has closed all halls. In order to accommodate members, they have also extended drive-thru hours from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

“During difficult times like this, we reflect on our purpose and our core values,” said President and CEO Steve Webb. “Our goal is to ‘Build Relationships That Matter’. We hope that providing financial relief will be important to our members during these difficult times. Because no matter what, we’re here for you.

The credit union will likely announce other emergency relief programs. These updates will be posted on the NFCU’s Facebook and Twitter pages and on NeighborsFCU.org as these programs are finalized.
