Missy is a carefree woman who can’t wait to meet her perfect family. This gray and white American Staffordshire Terrier loves meeting new people and plays well with other dogs.
According to Broward County Animal Care, Missy is four years old and weighs 62 pounds. She has been at the shelter since March.
Missy is full of life and loves long walks and playing with ropes and tennis balls. She doesn’t drool or shed a lot and can be a perfect cuddly companion on the couch. Alert and observant, he is an intelligent puppy who wants to please his human.
Missy would be a great companion for a family with an active lifestyle.
Like many other big dogs at Broward Animal Care and Adoption Center, Missy needs a break from the kennel. The shelter is over capacity and needs the public to go out and adopt or adopt pets.
To adopt Missy (A2182099), foster or take a dog out for lunch, email the shelter at [email protected]. To schedule a foster appointment and learn more about adoptable pets, email [email protected].
The Broward County Animal Care Adoption Center is located at 2400 SW 42 Street, Fort Lauderdale, and is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Adoptions are free and include neutering, vaccinations, a microchip, and a Broward County pet license tag.
