She loves attention and looks for her forever home.

Jethro is estimated to be around 10 weeks old.

He came to the shelter with his siblings and loves to explore.

Effective July 1, 2021, the following fines and fees will increase at the Vernon Parish Animal Shelter:

ADOPTION FEES: $ 5 per day

RETURN TO OWNER FEE: $ 25 plus fees per day

QUOTES: $ 75 – Vaccination failure, license failure, failure to attach license tags to the collar, loose dogs and canines in a mobile home park

QUOTES: $ 100 – Female in free heat, pest, vicious animal, interference with animal control officer, not quarantined.

We will also begin offering private cremation services. Private cremations will cost $ 300 and will include an urn with your pets inside. Typical turnaround time is three days. Non-private cremations without return of remains cost $ 30 (less than 75 pounds) and $ 50 (more than 75 pounds).

We now accept credit and debit cards. There is a convenience fee of: Less than $ 100 = $ 2.50 More than $ 100 = $ 5.00
