HSOV will organize a fundraiser | News, Sports, Jobs


The Humane Society of the Ohio Valley is hosting a Jordan’s Way fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the shelter, 90 Mt. Tom Road, Marietta.

Jordan’s Way is a national fundraising organization (https://jordanswaytour.com/) touring 50 states in the United States. The Humane Society is one of four or five shelters in Ohio selected by Jordan’s Way to benefit from these fundraising support services. .

Community volunteers are invited to select a preferred time in 30-minute increments between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to participate in various activities organized and led by the Jordan’s Way production team.

Some may experience the view from inside a kennel, while other activities may involve cream pie faces.

The event will be streamed live to over 25,000 HSOV Facebook followers who will be asked to donate to support the shelter. Donations can be made through PayPal, walk-in donations during the live stream, or advanced donations to donors can be made by businesses or organizations, including anyone wishing to match monetary milestones achieved during the live stream .
