Dogs up for adoption at Cove Animal Rescue on June 18

In this week’s Paws & Pals, Animal Rescue Cove presented four dogs in search of their “furever” home.

Zack is 4 to 5 years old. This Stratford Terrier looking for an experienced and dog savvy home where he can be worked on through his insecurities and inhibitions. Zack doesn’t do well on his own, he suffers from separation anxiety while in his kennel. When Zack is out of the kennel and spending time with the people at the shelter, he is at his best. Zack loves to play fetch, and once he gets a workout he loves hanging out and getting a belly massage.

Calvin hasn’t had a great start to life, but the Shelter wants to make sure he gets the happy ending he deserves. The minute you walk up to Calvin, he’s making the sweetest pig noises to get attention. He just wants to be loved. Calvin is a 6-year-old Métis, up to date with all his stereotypes and in search of his “furever” home. Calvin needs an experienced, dog-friendly home without children or other pets.

Titus is a mix of hunting dogs and American Bull Dogs between 4 and 5 years old. Titus likes long walks and rubbing his stomach. He may be shy at first, but once he trusts he opens up to become mush. Titus was raised in a house with children and can be very gentle, but he is afraid of other dogs.

Hooch is a 3 year old Stafford Terrier mixed up to date on all his pictures and sterilized. Hooch loves everyone, especially if you have treats, but can be shy around other dogs. Hooch is still in the puppy stage, working with trainers on basic commands.
