Cheyenne Animal Shelter Spring Adoption Event

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Press release) – The Cheyenne Animal Shelter has reduced all adult dog adoption fees to $99 starting April 18 for a Spring Cleaning adoption event. Over the past two days, the shelter has taken in nearly 50 dogs from a residence in the county, pushing our dog count to a new high.

Prior to the dog welcome over the weekend, there were over 30 dogs available on the adoption floor, many of whom have been at the shelter for a long time. This promotion is intended to help find homes for these animals and allow more dogs to be made available as they are selected for adoption.

Annual Campaign and Branding Director Niki Harrison said, “We encourage anyone considering adopting to stop by and meet our available dogs. Many of them have been here for a long time and are eager to find accommodation. Harrison also said: “If you are unable to adopt, there are many ways you can help by donating funds for care, donating Purina One dog food or asking us about adoption or release. of a dog for a day.”

You can view all adoptable dogs at cheyenneanimalshelter.org or visit the shelter Monday through Saturday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
