More than 1,300 dogs competed at the 2022 AKC National Agility Championship in Ocala, Fla., April 1-3, in hopes of being named top agility dogs. However, only a few have been able to be crowned National Agility Champions.
Champions were announced in each of six height categories (8″, 12″, 16″, 20″, 24″ and 24C″ respectively).

Get started with agility
All breeds, including mixed breeds, can participate in Agility. The first step is to make sure your dog is registered. Mixed breeds can register as canine partners.
A great first step is to work towards your ACT title. The Agility Lessons Test (ACT) is an entry-level agility event designed to introduce and welcome beginner dogs and their handlers to the sport of AKC agility. Any dog 15 months or older can participate and the title can now be won virtually.
